Planning time for makeup is such an essential part of being on time for your wedding. I can't even begin to tell you the number of times we have seen weddings start late because makeup ran over on timing. In a recent interview with Stacey Lyn Weinstein from Once Upon A Bride, she said something that made perfect sense. "Don't be last in the chair!" The bride, that is, should be stress free. And, by not being the last person to need hair and makeup, you'll not only get more attention to detail, but you'll also eliminate a lot of stress and clock watching.Stacey also suggests having a beauty schedule for the bridesmaids instead of just saying "show up at 1pm so we can get started". By planning a schedule, you ensure that ample time is given to each bridesmaid. Starting your day on time is essential to the flow of the days events. While, the wedding can't start with out the bride, planning ahead gives you extra time for pictures and partying at the end of the evening.
